Meet the couple that makes up Rebel Ops
TIM SCHUMACHER
By day, Tim works as a Dean at a high school. He has a bachelor’s in Physical Education and a master’s in Educational Leadership. His office is filled with memorabilia that includes sports, Disney, and Star Wars. He definitely is waiting for the moment that he could use his lightsaber to defend the school. When’s he’s not dealing with school discipline, he’s working part time at Vivoli Il Gelato in Disney Springs, playing softball with the Disney Recreation team, or collecting Star Wars toys. Tim has a whole room dedicated to Star Wars in their house, along with a baseball room. He enjoys putting on a show and has a love for finding the right words to say to make a wedding ceremony memorable.
LAURA SCHUMACHER
Laura is a fundraising professional for a local state College. She has her bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre and a master’s in Nonprofit Management. Putting on a show has been something she’s been doing since she was three years old in her living room. In her past jobs at local theatres, organizing the logistics of events was one of her main roles, and this has continued into her current position. She still loves to perform and create art. You may see some original art or sewing projects at future toy shows. Laura’s nerdisms span the gamut, including Disney, anime, Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Supernatural, and more.
